American Idol: Jason Castro
While watching American Idol last week, I saw a face I knew I had seen before. Later I found out it was Jason Castro who happens to live in Texas. Is it possible I had seen him around here? I know I've met the guy? But where?
Later I discovered Jason is connected to Lakepoint Baptist Church in Rockwall, TX . We used to have our Dallas PlanetWisdom at Lakepoint, so I may have seen him there. I am positive I have met him before ... but I could be wrong.
Jason ..if you're out there... help me out! Either way... My family likes him and will vote for him as long as he continues to sings well ... even if it turns out we never met (but I'm SURE we have!)
Are you into American Idol? Has this show run it's course or is it here to stay?

We love American Idol! : ) And I think he has cool hair, so he has my vote. If I could pull that off I would in a heartbeat!
you can pull it off now, you're skinny man! Mark, glad the blogging is here now vs. myspace. Looking forward to it.
We LOVE American Idol at our house (okay, I do and my husband, Frank, tolerates me and stuffs cotton in his ears to stop them from bleeding). Some in our Youth Group faithfully follow this reality TV show. I am a bit disappointed by the "professional" talent being pitted against the talent that doesn't have this experience in their back pockets. Jason is a doll..but I'm hoping for Brooke White.
My son and I watch American Idol. We both sing, and he plays guitar and bass, so we enjoy the good and the bad, and share our own critiques of the singers. I usually agree with Simon, sad to say. He's not too kind, but he knows what he's talking about. We really dug Jason Castro from the first Hollywood night - he's handsome, genuine, and really talented. He may not fit the "American Idol" mold, but even if he doesn't win, I think he could have a really successful career. He seems so unjaded, and un-stardom, and that's really refreshing. Plus we gotta support our fellow Texans! By the way, we attended the conference when it was at Lakepoint - I wonder if I have seen him before? Wonder if he had that hair back then?
hey mark...what's up? It's been a long time.
Tracie and I were thinking the same thing and then Tracie remembered...we saw him on the MTV show about Cheyenne Kimball...he was her boyfriend! Mystery solved :-)
