Whoever it is, they have someone from the state of Alabama on their team.  That is where most of the football talent comes from.  I just wonder why we don’t have a pro team.  So who are the contestants?

Yeah, this is a state where football is only below God and family, and books are only read if they’re the Bible or playbooks.  Here Xs and Os means Defense and Offense.  We will proudly recite the Pledge of Allegiange, sing the National Anthem, and our team’s fight song, whether it be War Eagle or Yea Bama.  Often a child’s first words are “War Eagle” or the other one.  We take our football seriously here because to us it isn’t a sport, it’s a way of life.

COLTS!!

I’m an Eagles fan, and have been rooting for whoever is playing the Saints since the Eagles were eliminated. I was disappointed in the game yesterday, but I think it’ll be even better if the Colts destroy the Saints. Nothing better than being so close, only to end up second best.

I hate the Colts with a passion. So I shall root for the Saints.

WHO DAT?!?!?!
For those of you who are confused…that is the catchphrase for the Saints. For instance, since I am a college ball nut, War Eagle and Roll Tide are familar to me as team catch phrases. But it helps that I am from alabama. Ok here is another one: Boomer Sooner. Bammer Yellowhammer.  Same deal. Now why they chose “Who Dat?” over something more understandable is beyond me. All the same…Who Dat!!!
