I was sitting around the other day cleaning out my ears when this wonderful idea came to me.

Here's what you'll need:

The first thing you need to do is grab a pair of scissors and cut the straws down to about 2 1/2 inches long.

Next grab your marshmallows and jam them onto the ends of your mutilated straws.

Congratulations your Q-tips are ready to be waxed.

Put your butterscotch chips into a mircrowavable bowl and stick them into the microwave on low for about 30 seconds.

Now all that is left is for you to wax up your Q-tips by dipping them into the "wax."

I like to serve the wax still hot with the Q-tips sticking up out of the wax just in case some one wants to really dig in. But you can also put them on wax paper to harden and make them fun treats to put in your lunch box and share with your friends at school.

 

Now that our ears are cleaned out, let's (h)ear from God's word.

1 Corinthians 2:9,10

However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

The things that God has for us are completely beyond our human comprehension. Even with clean ears, we cannot hear the good things he has for us . To know the good things God has prepared for our lives, we must live by the Spirit.

So many times we fail to understand what God is doing in our lives. We cannot comprehend what God has in store for us or the reasons certain things happen. We do not understand because we are trying to understand with our human abilities, and they fall short.

Cheer up and be excited! You cannot comprehend the things God has in store for you. Knock yourself out -- dream and imagine all you can and God will blow you away. His ways are so far beyond ours!
