Hello once again and
welcome to my kitchen. I have worked long and hard to find weird recipes
to use in my kitchen and this very special and wonderfully disgusting
recipe is for everyone out there who has ever been told to hold their
tongue.
Here's what you'll
need
3 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
Red food coloring
Pink or red cake crystals
Marshmallow Creme
To start off pre-heat
the oven to 200 degrees. Now you want to carefully separate the egg whites
from the egg yolks, make sure you have no yolk mixed in at all and pick
it out if any gets in.
Next grab a wire whisk
(or if you feel especially sadistic use an electric mixer) and giving
the egg whites the ride of their lives.

Once the egg whites
have formed stiff peaks (scared em good you did) start sprinkling in the
sugar until all of it has been added. The stiff white peaks should now
be nice and shiny
.
Now add the red food
coloring until you have the mixture is a nice tongue-like pink color.

Put some parchment
paper (if you use wax paper, double fold it so your tongues don't stick)
on a cookie sheet and start glopping your "Tongue" mixture onto it. Form
each of the globs into a tongue shape and press a popcicle stick into
it, then add some more tongue mix to make the top half of the tongue.

You can use a toothpick
or something to make a shallow groove down the center of the tongue to
make it more realistic then sprinkle on the cake crystals for tastebuds.
Bake your tongues for around two to three hours or until they are completely
dry, then carefully lift them off the paper. Finally give them a light
coating of marshmallow creme and they are ready to serve.
And now we turn to
the Bible: Proverbs 11:12 says: "A man who lacks judgment derides his
neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his tongue."
The tongue is a very
powerful part of our body. It has the power to build up and the power
to destroy. There is nothing as simple, yet so damaging as a slip of the
tongue, where we say something without thinking and do major damage to
a persons view of themselves or another person. We must keep aware of
every word we say and work our hardest to control our tongues. Read James
3:1-12 and then write out a list on ways you need to gain control over
your tongue. Finally pray and ask God that he will help you with controlling
your tongue.
